As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most intimate and special moments in a couple's life.
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Ilya and Victoria, a couple doing a long-distance relationship between Germany and the United States (I am still very impressed by that!). Their intimate ceremony took place at Frederiksberg Town Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark, and it was just the two of them, along with me as their wedding photographer. And we had fun!
After the ceremony, we took some portraits around the town hall and walked towards the metro, which I thought was an excellent way to capture the authenticity and fun of the day. We stopped at Christianshavn, and I captured plenty of portraits of the couple in that area -Ilya loves boats and yachts, and Victoria loves the typical streets of Copenhagen, so I made sure to capture those elements in the photos. But what really stood out to me was their long-distance relationship, and I wanted to capture that in the photos as well. I wanted to show their love in a way that would make them feel connected, even when they're miles apart.
Being a part of Ilya and Victoria's special day was a unique experience, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to capture their love story. As a wedding photographer, it's important for me to make a personal connection with my couples and understand their story, so I can capture their wedding day in a way that's authentic and unique to them.
I & V , thank you! <3
